1. Now, you need to think about what message Howard Beale (the speaker) is trying to tell. It's fairly obvious. What message did you take away from this?
A speaker explained the television in this video. Most people do not use the time for reading books and newspaper. The speaker told us the television set doesn't have truths. So we lived in the illusion. Finally, he insisted us that we turn off the television and then, we see truths.
2. Is this message more or less relevant today than 30 years ago when this movie came out?
I think this massage is more relevant to today society rather than 30 year's ago because TV is familiar thing with us. We can see TV in most house and also we can find it easily. People get many information as watch the television. They spend more time to reading book and newspaper than to watch TV because TV gets information faster than book and newspaper. In my case, I can do different work at same time as watch the television.
3. Is this a message for American audiences only, or is it a message that could be spread in your home country? Why or why not?
These days, it's not only American's problem but also a worldwide issue. Koreans spend too much time on watching TV. Koreans think now we have technology to get information like TV. Koreans don't like to read newspaper and book, so people to read books decrease every year. this message is for every country in the world.
4. Does this make you want to see the movie, or does it just sound like a boring old man trying to tell everyone how to live their life?
It was not interesting to me, but not bored because I understand speaker tried to explain to us. I think this video shows the direction of our life.

Story
It was a light and never got a dark.
There were two suns in the sky.
The bird were singing and looking around for partner.
There were many beautiful flowers in the garden.
It reminded me about my past.
When I was 10 years old, we had a beautiful house and yard. I have good childhood in there. No tension about life, Just be relaxed all the time. But now I am changed, because I found a girl who changed my life.
When I saw her, I tried to make a girlfriend and I said “Love you.”
But she rejected me. She said she deserved something belter
He was so mad. Then, he went to the bar to drink alone. He turned around and he found a young pretty girl, sweet, and rich. She was Korean and she said “Hi” him. He was so pawn and tried to get her phone numbers. She gave her numbers and kissed him. He was happy. Finally, he woke up because it was a dream.

I watched movies which are Code Name - The Cleaner today. The movies showed for 91 minutes. This genre is comedy, action and crime movies.
Jake, Cedric Kyles, is a hero and Jina, Lucy Lui, is a heroine in this movie.
The content of this movie is as follows. Jake injured the head, so he suffered an attack of amnesia. There is one chip about action game to him. villains maked efforts to take the chip by force but it wasn't easy. He was retaking memories of the past slowly. He retook his memories and Jake and Jina solve the affair.
This movies ware interesting but a content of the movies is very much simple. This movies seem to make to be just funny. I don't want to watch this movies again because the content of movies does not exist. I like movies which have the content like An Inconvenient Truth.

1. Summarize the Simpsons episode.
One day, Lisa tried to solve a puzzle. Everybody solved the puzzle easily but not her. she forgot to do her project, so she worried about that she would be stupid like her father and brother. her grandfather told her about Simpsons' gene. She went to a museum and Jazz club to feed her brain the last meal. She got an idea after she talked singer who sing in the Jazz club. Homer found her strange behavior and called all of his relatives to his house for helping her. Every man didn't succeed but Simpson's women succeeded. Finally, Lisa didn't worry about her brain because she knew that stupid came from Simpson's Y gene.
2. Which is more important in human development of personality and intellegence: genes or environment?
I think that both environment and intelligence are important to human, but the environment is more important than the intelligence. a man of genius comes from gene of 1 percent and effort of 99 percents. people to do good from the beginning doesn't exist. We can get through many efforts.

Spider Man
Before I make a review of this film, let me introduce major characters and give a brief description about them. There are 4 main characters in this movie. Peter Parker who is supposed to be a Spiderman plays a leading role in it. Norman Osborn who will be changed to Green Goblin plays a villain part. Mary Jane Watson who doesn't know he exists, even though he has lived next door to her for more than 10 years. His best friend is Harry Osborn who is another outsider in the school.
The content of this movie is as follows. While visiting a lab at Columbia University, he is bitten by a genetically engineered spider by chance. After that accident, he experiences a transformation and finds himself developing spider-like abilities. He was getting stronger and faster than before enough to be able to climb up the side of a building and squirt spiderwebs out of his wrists. That's why he adopts himselfSpiderman. At the same period, industrial scientist Norman Osborn intends to develop superhuman abilities by himself and he finally also experiences a transformation though being inoculated with an experimental nerve gas in person. For that reason he became the super-strong and psychotic Green Goblin who challenges Spiderman to a fight. Then the Goblin plans to attack Spiderman including his elderly aunt May and Mary Jane Watson, the girl who Spiderman secretly loves. In spite of being severely attacked by Green Goblin, our hero is after all a winner.

1. What does it mean to be polite in your culture?
Korea is the country of courteous people in the East. My country values the rules of etiquette. To be polite means to respect each other. Namely, the politeness is we respect an upper people and we take care of a downside people.
2. What is considered rude in your culture?
We can see rude behaviors easily in table manner. There are some examples of table manner. First at all, we can't eat before older person raises the spoon. The other words, we can eat if the older person begins to eat. Next, before older person finishes eating, we should not put a spoon on the table and leave from the table. Finally, we should not be the sound when we eat something on the table. The other thing, when we have the conversation with old people, we can't interrupt and say at the medium for conversing.
3. Is there anything in US culture that is considered rude that may not be considered rude in your culture?
It is common in Korea that parents beat children when their children tell mistake but they don't tell a truth. We call a cane of love. On the other hand, it is surprising that parents never beat their children. I think that we need surely the cane of love because parents must deliver their children so that they do straight deed.

Today, I choose to watch movies, sleepless in Seattle, because I love someone. When I was watching the movie, I was sometimes excited. Love overcomes everything. On the other word, love transcends everything. The story is as follows.
Sam hoped to make happy house, but he was neared tragedy that his wife died of a cancer. Sam hoped to make happy house, but a tragedy that his wife died of a cancer approaches to him. On Christmas Eve, Annie, journalist, introduced a fiancé to her family in her parent house. When Annie was driving a car to her home, she was listening broadcast that Jonah, Sam's son, wanted Sam to do a second marriage. She thought that Sam was a man of her destiny. She estranged her from her fiancé because of Sam. She finally determined to meet them, so she went to Seattle. She was disappointed because Sam met to other woman, and she went back to home. Jonah also tried to meet Annie to tell truth, so he went to New York by himself. Sam followed Jonah when he knew that Jonah disappeared. The movies finished as soon as they met Empire building.
While I finished this movie, I hope to confess the love to her. but I can't. I think that this movie is a masterpiece because it shakes the heart of the people.

What is the name of the galaxy we live in?
We live in the planet which is called the Earth.
How many galaxies are there?
We do not know exactly. There are 125,000,000,000 galaxies.
How many stars are in our galaxy?
There are 100,000,000,000 stars in our own galaxy.
Which star is closest to Earth?
The sun, at a distance of about 92 million miles, is the closest star to Earth.
I think that aliens from outer space live in other planets, because the Earth is really small existence in our galaxy. Our technique is incomplete, so we can't contact with them. Now many scientists try to get information like moon and Mars. If our technique is improved at the future, we may contact each other and live together.

The New AT and T
We did merrily an interview there because all of employees. The new at and t
We visited the new at and t which isn’t so large at the last because there is the store far than other stores. We did merrily an interview there because all of employees are very kindly and friendly.
Yangsoo ask for the first time “Do you like to work here?”
One seller said “Of course, love it.”
“Why you like it?”
“Because of payment and place in downtown.”
Most of employees work here over 8 years.
Their competition is sprint, the new at and t and sprint have different technology systems.
I ask him “what brand do you have?”
He answers “Samsung, LG, and Motorola.”
Yangsoo ask “what is popular item in your store?”
He answers “Cell-phones and Bluetooth.”
I ask again “how about customer base?”
He smiles and answers “Everyone.”
Yangsoo ask “how about customer complaints?”
“Maybe machine problem.”
“What did your management do?”
“We try to customer to restore the smile, and fix the machine.”
I ask him “what qualification do we have if we want to work here?”
“Smile and eloquence.”
They look like family and friends.
He did tell us what is best/worst part of working here. There is only one part of job, seller.
Finally we greeted them and came back whole foods

Office Max
In raining morning on Thursday, Liu li, Yangsoo, and I went to Office Max to interview with an employee. I think the store maybe is bigger than other Office Maxs in Austin.
When we went into the interior of the store, we looked around for an employee but there are only two employees (a casher and stock-finder) at sale section. We go near the stock-finder and request interview to him. He refused the interview courteously; however, he introduced another employee to us.
We exchange civilities with her who works copy section. Than Yangsoo begin the interview.
Yangsoo introduced us to her “We are studying TIEP, and need to information about business environment.”
“Ok. Let me ask manager.” When she answers, she just looked around a surrounding but she didn’t find her manager.
She asked a first question “Do you like to work here?”
She said “I love it”
She asked the question naturally again “Why?”
“Good working place and everybody friendly and kindly.”
Yangsoo asked a next question “how long did you work here?”
“Just half years.”
“Why?”
“I want to study more and get a better job.”
“What are the different here and other store?”
“Maybe only here have copy section.”
We got much information while she interviewed with her. They use 2 kinds brands, and popular item is paper and color printing.
She asked another question “customer base?”
“small business and university students” she answers very short.
She asked question again “what qualifications we need?”
“A high school diploma and active personality
How about relationship between Employee and management?
“It’s very good and .we talks anytime when we want.”
Yangsoo asked the last question “What is the best/worst part of working at this store?”
She didn’t want to work in front of place, but she like to work for the behind.
When we finished last question, we said at the same time “thank you very much.”

Almost all Koreans tend to be conscious. So do me. When I buy products, I tend to consider brand names. Not only I make efforts to buy good brands if it is same things, but also I compare product price between American and Korea. In addition I think what brand Korean people prefer or research. I usually buy good brand products such as clothes, shoes, electronics, accessories etc.
In my opinion, good brands and fine articles offer more quality. In addition, when I buy fine articles (higher quality products), I take a quiet satisfaction to products

Writing a CD Review
This album is the first album. Junior Brown is a singer, songwriter, producer, lead, rhythm and steel guitarist and an inventor. He was born in Cottonwood, Arizona. He starts to play guitar when he was young. Some of the world’s musical elite likes him because his songs have been widely covered. In 1981, he invented a unique instrument, called “Guit-Steel.” It is a double neck instrument, combining an electric and a steel guitar. This album is Junior’s debut album and contains elements of all the classic country music styles played and sung with the wild and original flare that is uniquely Junior Brown.
This CD sold a lot when it published because it is Texas music and a ballad in 1990. He sang songs for over 15years and left a lot of hit songs; "Highway Patrol", "My Wife Thinks You're Dead", "Sugarfoot Rag", "Semi-Crazy", "I Hung it Up", "Long Walk Back" and many more.
I like this album but not too much because it is kinds of old music. Most people like this music. I think over 40 year old people especially love this music. When you can listen to songs, you will be felt like a cowboy. So do me. I listen to them 5 times on Saturday but I can listen to carefully.
In my feeling, I felt I run by horse and play a guitar in Texas when I listened to the first music. I also follow to sing unintentionally. I will listen to songs tomorrow again.

3 packages
I want to send self-confidence to a first package. Most people can’t do anything if the self-confidence doesn't exist. So am I. I give myself courage when I should do something. For trifling example, I say to myself "I can do it and do my best" when the examination is hanging over me. So I need the self-confidence surely if I have to live happily all my life.
A second package is the memories. The memory is important part to live. I think that not only people can't exist without memories, but also memories can't exist without people. Can you live without your memories? I can’t do it. When I sometime think about happy memories, I come to be pleasant. Therefore a life without memories is uninteresting.
My last package is lots of friends. Many friends are good for you. My mother always tells me “you will make or meet a lot of good friends but not false friends. I have more than two true friends now therefore I am a successful person. Also we can help or depend upon each other if friends have a lot but I must not count upon friend's help. I think that a friend is an everlasting advisor and helper. For reference I found two proverbs about a friend. There is a proverb which says “a friend in need is a friend indeed” and “a friend is easier lost than found.”

Trash of the Titans
1. Costington's deaprtment store created new holiday, Love Day, because It reduced business from July to August. Homer have to take out a trash. then He fight dust men so he cut off thier service. His house completely cleaned, for Marge wrote a letter of apology to the Sanitation Commissioner. He went to the concert and deliver an address. Finally, he became the Sanitation Commissioner. He wasted a budget for shortime. He buries garbages into a ground because of the budget problem. The problems are getting worse and all people move out of country.
2. After I saw the Simpsons, my opinion is cleaning is self-respect, not rule. If your house is a sanitary landfill, how do you feel? It is the same as the case of the earth. I try to do the work for the earth; for example, I do recycle, take a means of public transportation, and turn off the Air Conditioner when I’m not in my house. I always remember these.
3. The episode shows the satire on society to us. Many people think anyone do something instead of me. It is right ideas, for the earth problem is not an idividual problem. The earth is explaining that the earth gives back if we destroy it. It says that all people must keep or protect the earth.
An Opinion Of Rich
The definition of the rich which I have is happy heart. We can gather money at any time, but the heart can't buy and deal with the money. The money which people want to make accompanies greed and lie. The other hand, the happiness does not have any condition. The condition of the happiness depends on heart of every people. You are rich if yourself is happy.

Second, when I was staying in studyhall in TIEP, I did my homework with classmates who is from Taiwan. Finally, I watched DVD, Freedon Writer Diary, one more time and called my mom living in Teage, the middle of Korea.
